I dare not trust the sweetest frame,

When darkness veils His lovely face,
I rest on His unchanging grace;
In every high and stormy gale,
My anchor holds within the veil.
I rest on His unchanging grace;
In every high and stormy gale,
My anchor holds within the veil.
When darkness veils His lovely face,
I rest on His unchanging grace;
In every high and stormy gale,

His oath, His covenant, His blood,
Support me in the whelming flood;
When all around my soul gives way,
He then is all my hope and stay.
Support me in the whelming flood;
When all around my soul gives way,
He then is all my hope and stay.
His oath, His covenant, His blood,
Support me in the whelming flood;
When all around my soul gives way,
He then is all my hope and stay.
Support me in the whelming flood;
When all around my soul gives way,
He then is all my hope and stay.

When He shall come with trumpet sound,
Oh, may I then in Him be found;
In Him, my righteousness, alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne.
Oh, may I then in Him be found;
In Him, my righteousness, alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne.
When He shall come with trumpet sound,
Oh, may I then in Him be found;
In Him, my righteousness, alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne.
Oh, may I then in Him be found;
In Him, my righteousness, alone,
Faultless to stand before the throne.

You Are My King. Your Grace Is Enough. My hope is built on nothing less than Christ the solid rock. All and all, Amen! Love You Beloved.
What an assurance! To know that Jesus cares.

This is one of the hymns that drags me down to the spirit. I love it so much...

This song re-affirms the hope we have in Jesus Christ. I feel lifted whenever I listen to or sing this hymn. It gives me a great sense of belonging knowing that God is always there for me and my family.

Really my solid rock is Christ.

I so much love this song that whenever I sing it, tears roll down my cheeks. Truly, all other ground is sinking sand. I always sing the song prayerfully with meditation on the wordings. The song has done so much good in my life that when I am down, it lifts me up knowing indeed that my hope is built on nothing less than Jesus Christ. God Bless The Composer.

As Sunday School Superintendent at my childhood church I would often open the morning singing with this song. I awakened this morning with it on my lips and in my heart even though I have long since left that congregation and began obeying the Lord Jesus Christ in full-time ministry. Not only is it an eternal blessing to me but it is full of faith and the word of God. Praise the Lord for this site.

I just went through a trying moment last night but when I played this song this morning, I feel lifted spiritually. What more do I need than Christ the solid ground.
