I am Thine, O Lord, I have heard Thy voice,
And it told Thy love to me;
But I long to rise in the arms of faith,
And be closer drawn to Thee.
And it told Thy love to me;
But I long to rise in the arms of faith,
And be closer drawn to Thee.

Consecrate me now to Thy service, Lord,
By the pow’r of grace divine;
Let my soul look up with a steadfast hope,
And my will be lost in Thine.
By the pow’r of grace divine;
Let my soul look up with a steadfast hope,
And my will be lost in Thine.
Consecrate me now to Thy service, Lord,
By the pow’r of grace divine;
Let my soul look up with a steadfast hope,
And my will be lost in Thine.
By the pow’r of grace divine;
Let my soul look up with a steadfast hope,
And my will be lost in Thine.

O the pure delight of a single hour
That before Thy throne I spend,
When I kneel in prayer, and with Thee, my God,
I commune as friend with friend!
That before Thy throne I spend,
When I kneel in prayer, and with Thee, my God,
I commune as friend with friend!
O the pure delight of a single hour
That before Thy throne I spend,
When I kneel in prayer, and with Thee, my God,
I commune as friend with friend!
That before Thy throne I spend,
When I kneel in prayer, and with Thee, my God,
I commune as friend with friend!

There are depths of love that I yet may know
Ere Thee face to face I see;
There are heights of joy that I yet may reach
Ere I rest in peace with Thee.
Ere Thee face to face I see;
There are heights of joy that I yet may reach
Ere I rest in peace with Thee.
There are depths of love that I yet may know
Ere Thee face to face I see;
There are heights of joy that I yet may reach
Ere I rest in peace with Thee.
Ere Thee face to face I see;
There are heights of joy that I yet may reach
Ere I rest in peace with Thee.

I woke in the night singing this song. Haven't sang it in close to 50 years, lol. I am so thankful that I lived in a time when we sang the old hymns, teaching us Scriptural truths. Blessed be the glorious Lord!

The Lord is like a bottomless well. He always has more love for us to enjoy. This is our hope and stay. Draw me nearer to your wounded side. This is where the water of life flows. The joy of knowing the Lord is what draws me nearer to the cross. I have experienced this joy and consecrate myself again and again to this loving God.
