Is there any love as true as Christ's love? So perfect, redeeming and genuine??
About three decades ago, I went out with my mum. We wanted to cross a busy road. My mum was holding my hand as a parent would do. As a fast moving truck was closely approaching, I ran across the road. My mum couldn't run after me because everyone at the scene thought I would be crushed.
My mum loves and cares for me but her love couldn't save me from death.
As the truck was about to hit me, God's power stopped it. Everyone was amazed.
Since then, I believe in God's omnipotence and omnipresence. He loves us, He is everywhere and always ready to save.
When my parent's love failed, God's love saved.
On several occasions, this saving love of God has rescued me from perishing in the raging sea of sins.
Praise the Lord!

I woke up this morning trying to figure out my emotions and the validity of my feelings. I concluded that nobody understand me but God. He validated this to me when I turn to my devotion this morning and the Topic was "The Lord Understands." I cried and this song came to me and I googled it. What an understanding God I serve. A God who knows me better than I know myself. A God who understands me when no one else does. A God who knows my deepest struggles. Glory to His name.
