We are never weary singing our eternal song

Worship of the Father His Redemption

English41
1
We are never weary singing our eternal song:
Glory to God, hallelujah!
We would sing His praise forever with our spirit strong:
Glory to God, hallelujah!

O the children of the Lord have a wondrous song to sing,
For the Lord will by His grace many sons to glory bring.
We are going in that day to the presence of the King:
Glory to God, hallelujah!
2
We are lost amid the rapture of redeeming love:
Glory to God, hallelujah!
We are seeking every moment all its grace to prove:
Glory to God, hallelujah!
3
We are going on to glory as the Lord has told:
Glory to God, hallelujah!
Where the King in all His beauty we shall soon behold:
Glory to God, hallelujah!
4
There we’ll sing His grace and mercy in a glad new song:
Glory to God, hallelujah!
There we’ll praise our glorious Savior with the blessed throng:
Glory to God, hallelujah!

John 17:20 Neither pray I for these alone (the apostles) for them which shall believe on me through their word (the body in general)

21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.

22 And the GLORY which thou gavest me (the Son) I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:” GLORY to God!!

23 …that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved t hem, as thou hast loved me.

Verse 3 of Hymn “We are going on to GLORY as the Lord has told:”

The GLORY is not just for us. It is for the whole world can see the testimony of Christ Through the church and love Him.

Glory to God, hallelujah!

I noticed something in verse one.
We are never weary singing our eternal song:
Glory to God, hallelujah!
We would sing His praise forever WITH OUR SPIRIT STRONG:
Glory to God, hallelujah!

Brother Lee always emphasized exercising the spirit to strengthen our spirit. This hymn was written in the 1800’s. Fanny Crosby really knew her spirit. This was quite a revelation for the time.
