To God be the glory, great things He hath done

Worship of the Father His Redemption

English39
1
To God be the glory, great things He hath done,
So loved He the world that He gave us His Son,
Who yielded His life our redemption to win,
And opened the life-gate that all may go in.

Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the earth hear His voice;
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the people rejoice;
Oh, come to the Father, through Jesus the Son,
And give Him the glory; great things He hath done.
2
Oh, perfect redemption, the purchase of blood,
To every believer the promise of God;
The vilest offender who truly believes,
That moment from Jesus a pardon receives.
3
Great things He hath taught us, great things He hath done,
And great our rejoicing through Jesus the Son;
But purer, and higher, and greater will be
Our wonder, our transport when Jesus we see.

Been focusing today on the second stanza's "The vilest offender who truly believes, A pardon that moment from Jesus receives." We all are sinners condemned before a holy God without the Cross of Christ. But because of God's love and mercy, there is no sin that is too much for God to forgive. The power of the blood of Jesus can make "the vilest" sinner clean. Thanks be God for His wonderful grace!

The hymn “To God be the glory”is just one of the best hymns that brings sensitivity to me regards who is the rightful owner of honor, praises for my achievements, Children’s accomplishments, disciples successes, that they belong to the Lord because he is the one at work in all.
