I come to Thee, dear Lord

Study of the Word Feeding on the Word

English812
1
I come to Thee, dear Lord,
My heart doth thirst for Thee;
Of Thee I’d eat, of Thee I’d drink.
Enjoy Thee thoroughly.
2
Just to behold Thy face,
For this my heart doth cry;
I deeply long to drink of Thee
My thirst to satisfy.
3
Thy glorious, radiant face
My heart delights to see;
Here I’d abide and ne’er depart,
Beholding constantly.
4
In such a fellowship
Thou, Lord, art grace to me;
My heart and spirit gladdened, filled,
I enter rest in Thee.
5
Lord, I would linger here,
Still seeking after Thee,
Continue in the Word and prayer
Till Thou dost flow thru me.

Just to behold Thy face… psalm 27:4 David contacted and absorbed God by beholding Him as beauty. “ Lord May we be those who enter into Your presence to contact You by beholding and absorbing You, to be filled with You and to express You. ”

Genesis 18:22 And the men turned from there and went toward Sodom, while Abraham remained standing before Jehovah.

Lord, save us from rushing our time with You. Make us like Abraham who loved Your presence and lingered in Your presence. Reveal Your heart to us in this way.

A song of songs to me
My ear delights to hear
A song that is a kiss of love
So fragrant with its oils
Your Name like ointment is
Virgins to win by love
Draw me we will run after Thee
A balm of love poured forth
The King has brought me to
Chambers of joy and peace
A place so glad so full of love
A love surpassing wine.

Oh Lord, when my heart feels hunger and thirst for You, my spirit is poor, I come to You and seek a fellowship with You. I eat and drink You. My heart will be satisfied and my spirit filled with You. Praise the Lord, You are my nourishment and my satisfaction!

Vengo a Ti, Senor
De Ti yo tengo sed
Beber de Ti, comer de Ti
Es mi mayor placer
Clama mi corazon
Solo mirar Tu faz
Beber de Ti anhelo yo
Hasta mi sed saciar
Desea mi corazon
Ver Tu gloriosa faz
Yo quiero asi permanecer
Firme, mirandola
En esta comunion
Eres la gracia en mi
De regocijo lleno estoy
Y descansando en Ti
Aqui me quedare
Buscando mas de Ti
En la Palabra y oracion
Hasta el fluir sentir
