All the way my Savior leads me

Comfort in Trials By the Lord’s Leading

English701
1
All the way my Savior leads me;
What have I to ask beside?
Can I doubt His tender mercy,
Who through life has been my Guide?
Heav’nly peace, divinest comfort,
Here by faith in Him to dwell!
For I know, whate’er befall me,
Jesus doeth all things well,
For I know, whate’er befall me,
Jesus doeth all things well.
2
All the way my Savior leads me,
Cheers each winding path I tread,
Gives me grace for every trial,
Feeds me with the living bread.
Though my weary steps may falter,
And my soul athirst may be,
Gushing from the Rock before me,
Lo! a spring of joy I see,
Gushing from the Rock before me,
Lo! a spring of joy I see.
3
All the way my Savior leads me;
Oh, the fullness of His grace!
Perfect rest to me is promised
In my Father’s blest embrace.
When my spirit, clothed immortal,
Wings its flight to realms of day,
This my song through endless ages:
Jesus led me all the way,
This my song through endless ages:
Jesus led me all the way.

As I closed in prayer and asked the Lord to guide me through this day and that my will be fully conformed to His will; my heart burst into singing this great hymn. My spirit takes joy in the Lord; my soul is richly bless; for I knew my Lord heard and answered me by sending consolation through this hymn. What an awesome God we serve. I blessed God for the one He used to penned this great hymn that whispers sweet peace to Gods' children in diverse hours.

God placed the wordings - Jesus doeth all things well in my heart all through the week & I had to browse for the lyrics of the song. After singing through, I saw it that God had a great message for me because I am going through a lot. Thank God for the gift of the Holy Spirit. God be praised.

We sang this at my Father's funeral. It was a true testimony to his life and a wonderful testimony of God's faithfulness to him. Lead on, O King Eternal!
