Safe in the arms of Jesus

Comfort in Trials By the Lord’s Arms

English679
1
Safe in the arms of Jesus,
Safe on His gentle breast,
There by His love o’ershaded,
Sweetly my soul doth rest.
Hark! ’tis a song of heaven
Borne in the sweetest voice,
Echoed by saints in spirit,
Making my heart rejoice.

Safe in the arms of Jesus,
Safe on His gentle breast,
There by His love o’ershaded,
Sweetly my soul doth rest.
2
Safe in the arms of Jesus,
Safe from corroding care,
Safe from the world’s temptations,
Sin cannot harm me there.
Free from the blight of sorrow,
Free from my doubts and fears;
Only a few more trials,
Only a few more tears.
3
Jesus, my heart’s dear Refuge,
Jesus has died for me;
Firm on the Rock of Ages
Ever my trust shall be.
Here let me wait with patience,
Wait till the night is o’er,
Wait till I see the morning
Break on the golden shore.

Jesus Lord is our Saviour. He loves all of us. When we are in great difficulties and stress or sickness He can only give us relief and take care about each of us. In this earth everything has been created by His plan and so He has a plan for everybody.

Thank You Jesus to be in Your safe hands and show us every day to go ahead with Your plans, not with our plans.

Great to be in His Arms day in and day out. Is there any other way to live?

I was reading the verse 1Peter 3:20, "...eight souls, were brought safely through by water." and the words of this hymn came to me, Safe in the arms of Jesus. What a comfort to know Christ Jesus. What a sorrow that others don't.

First,I would like to give praise and honor to God Almighty, and our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Thanks to you also (Hymnal.Net) for being such a wonderful inspiration over the air waves into our homes, work places, and worship sites. Your music fills my heart and soul with joy and peace and a stressless release from the toils and snares and the many earthly burdens we face daily. Safe in the Arms Jesus was a hymn I heard over the air waves while station in Alaska with the United States Air Force Reserves during my annual two weeks tour. While sitting in my barracks(dormitory) room, your music...this hymn was sent by you or someone over the air waves. May God continue to bless Hymnal.Net, all of the hard working, dedicated employees and staff, and your untiring service to society...to the world.

Love and Peace

I love this song. Every anxious moment is nullified when my spirit echos this song. If the trials of life steal my rest, this song gives me peace and I sleep off peacefully , humming this song. Thank You Jesus for those who know Your heart and give us a glimpse of Your tender love.

I AGREE WITH THE 1ST COMMENT. Live and see every day of your life safe in the hands of your great guard (Lord Jesus)" No man can take u from His hands" so why shrink.
