Trust and obey

Experience of Christ Obeying Him

English582
1
When we walk with the Lord
In the light of His Word,
What a glory He sheds on our way;
While we do His good will,
He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.

Trust and obey,
For there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus,
But to trust and obey.
2
Not a shadow can rise,
Not a cloud in the skies,
But His smile quickly drives it away;
Not a doubt or a fear,
Not a sigh or a tear,
Can abide while we trust and obey.
3
Not a burden we bear,
Not a sorrow we share,
But our toil He doth richly repay;
Not a grief or a loss,
Not a frown or a cross,
But is blest if we trust and obey.
4
But we never can prove
The delights of His love,
Until all on the altar we lay;
For the favor He shows,
And the joy He bestows,
Are for them who will trust and obey.
5
Then in fellowship sweet
We will sit at His feet,
Or we’ll walk by His side in the way;
What He says we will do;
Where He sends, we will go,
Never fear, only trust and obey.

This song came to my mind when I was meditating on the strength of God. And I realised that before we can receive the strength of God, we need to Trust, Obey and Walk with Him in His word.

May the Lord help us as we do His good will.

Just stop being a witchcraft (1Samuel 15:23); trust and obey the word (Jesus) of God. The light of His word will shine in your ways and destiny.

It has been tough but I'm hugely encouraged by this song of trust on the Almighty GOD. I find myself emersed and repeating these words verses...

When we walk with the Lord
In the light of His Word,
What a glory He sheds on our way;
While we do His good will,
He abides with us still,
And with all who will trust and obey.
Trust and obey,
For there’s no other way
To be happy in Jesus,
But to trust and obey.

This song came to mind when reading from Job when he lost his family and still trusted, obeyed and praised God afterward. So thankful for this hymn and God's word to remind me

Wow! This hymn was broken down at my Bible Studies/ Hour of Knowledge, Hour of Power. Never heard of this song until Apostle Noble Ibe shared it. This song tells us that we must trust God’s will and obey. SURRENDER to God! Humbly submit to God.
