There is a fountain filled with blood Drawn from Immanuel’s veins; And sinners, plunged beneath that flood, Lose all their guilty stains: Lose all their guilty stains, Lose all their guilty stains; And sinners, plunged beneath that flood, Lose all their guilty stains.

The dying thief rejoiced to see That fountain in his day; And there may I, though vile as he, Wash all my sins away: Wash all my sins away, Wash all my sins away; And there may I, though vile as he, Wash all my sins away.
The dying thief rejoiced to see
That fountain in his day;
And there may I, though vile as he,
Wash all my sins away:
Wash all my sins away,
Wash all my sins away;
And there may I, though vile as he,
Wash all my sins away.

E’er since by faith I saw the stream Thy flowing wounds supply, Redeeming love has been my theme, And shall be till I die: And shall be till I die, And shall be till I die; Redeeming love has been my theme, And shall be till I die.
E'er since by faith I saw the stream
Thy flowing wounds supply,
Redeeming love has been my theme,

When this poor lisping, stammering tongue Lies silent in the grave, Then in a nobler, sweeter song, I’ll sing Thy power to save: I’ll sing Thy power to save, I’ll sing Thy power to save; Then in a nobler, sweeter song, I’ll sing Thy power to save.
My beautiful father in law passed into glory a few days ago. He was a pastor for over 50 years and was passionate about the God he served. He loved to sing but could never hold a tune. We all joked about it. But I can still hear him quoting the last verse, "When this poor lisping stammering tongue lies silent in the grave, then in a nobler sweeter song, I'll sing the power to save" He left a legacy for us to follow.
This was a song Andy Taylor was singing and Barney joined in on. Hard to believe this was on a show! Tells us just how much this world has changed. #missthosedays
God awoke me before the sunrise. So thankful as He revived me through this ageless song and through the comments of my brothers and sisters all around the world. I'm so thankful I am a child in the family of God with you all. Thank You Lord Jesus.!
I played my trumpet in Church for the first time several weeks ago and this is the song that the Lord gave me to play. Hadn't heard it in years. Did I mention that it was played in a Roman Catholic Church? I was floored afterwards. An evangelical song about Christ's saving & cleansing Blood in a Catholic Church? Maranatha!!! Even so, come quickly, Lord Jesus!!
