Deep and wide, deep and wide,
There’s a fountain flowing deep and wide.
Deep and wide, deep and wide,
There’s a fountain flowing deep and wide.

Evin T. , yes, the fountain is Jesus Christ and the blood that flowed from Him. And Marian Odey, I hope things are starting to get better for you, especially the grief I'm sure you are going through. You are deeply in my prayers. I pray that God gives you a deep peace and the wisdom and knowledge of what to do for yourself and your child to bring the most peace. God is a heart healer and He can give you peace in the most horrific storm. I pray that you see this post and know that prayers and Godly love are coming to you from Scottsboro, Alabama, USA.

Iv been hurting for a long time now.

Being verbally, emotionally, psychologically, spiritually abused by my husband. Just learnt few days ago that he posted pictures and videos of himself and a lady on social media and had blocked me from viewing his page. He is based in Uk while I'm in Nigeria with our child. We are legally married, yet I have been living like a single mum. It's been a very tough and tormenting marriage/journey of four years.

I have been calm, praying and hoping for a change from God. Until I recently heard of his social media post. That broke the camel's back.

Iv not being able to sleep for days now, waking up at midnight with the thoughts of his recent actions coming into my mind immediately I wake up, and feeling my heart skip several beats ...

Being crying unto God for strength, healing, restoration and ability to focus on Him....

I just woke up from sleep/a dream (4am Nigerian time), in which I heard a voice singing this song :"deep and wide. Deep and wide, there's a fountain flowing deep and wide.."

To me, this song means God has made available unto me/us a flowing river of living waters. In/from/through which we can get healing, restoration, rejuvenation, quenching of thirst of whatever needs we have, strength, hope( to keep us motivated and to keep us from going into depression), enlightening of our understanding, love, joy, kindness, peace (not like the world giveth), grace for focus etc.

So wife is a music teacher at a Christian school and she found deep and wide version with an added bridge in the song:

Whoever drinks the living water
Jesus gives to them
Whoever drinks the living water
Will never, ever thirst again
(Additional Words & Music by Stephen Elkins)

It makes the song make so much more sense and ties it into John 4:14 and yet it still parallels the Zechariah passage about stream of living water.

The bridge "flowed" (pun intended) so nicely that I thought I had been learning the song my whole life with a missing piece.

Brother Bill, the millennial temple is the third temple which is just Christ who rebuilt Himself as the third temple at His Resurrection as Himself and made us a part of it when he Created the One New Man. We are the temple of God and as the scriptures foretold there would be living waters flowing out from the temple. (Please see Zechariah 14:8 and John 7:38). We as Christians need to be flowing Christ as the Living water now from our inner most being. "Deep and wide" can also refer to appending with all the saints (as they flow the Living Water) the dimensions of Christ (Please See Ephesians 3:18-19).

"Deep and wide" matches the description of the stream flowing from the millennial temple, that gets deeper and wider as it goes. Ezek 47:1-5
