If you’re happy and you know it

Encouragement For Rejoicing in the Lord

1
If you’re happy and you know it,
Clap your hands.
If you’re happy and you know it,
Clap your hands.
If you’re happy and you know it,
And you really want to show it,
If you’re happy and you know it,
Clap your hands.
2
If you’re happy and you know it,
Stomp your feet.
(stomp, stomp)
3
If you’re happy and you know it,
Call, “Oh, Lord“.
(Oh, Lord)
4
If you’re happy and you know it,
Say, “Amen“.
(Amen)
5
If you’re happy and you know it,
Do all four.
(clap, clap; stomp, stomp; Oh, Lord; Amen.)

There's no children's mtg here so I have to be the shepherd to my kids and I'll be teaching them this song today. Indeed, let's be happy, rejoicing whatever the circumstance and wherever we are.

I like this song very much. That's why even today I still enjoy it, together with my kids.

It's a lively and commonly sung hymn, especially loved by most kids.

The loveliest song over years, we sung it when I was young, and now I always ensure children enjoy it while I teach sunday school in Uganda.
