跟著唱：do re mi fa sol，再唱回 do。

1=C：do 就是 C。
1=G：同樣的數字，從較高的音開始。

小調：「6=A」

這是詩歌第 8 首「Praise God, from whom all blessings flow」第一句的簡譜寫法。

1=G，4/4 拍。先休止三拍，第 4 拍唱「Praise」。7、6、5 下方的圓點表示這幾個音低八度。

Turn your eyes upon Jesus

Encouragement For Fellowship with the Lord

English645
1
O soul, are you weary and troubled?
No light in the darkness you see?
There’s light for a look at the Savior,
And life more abundant and free.

Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.
2
Through death into life everlasting
He passed, and we follow Him there;
O’er us sin no more hath dominion
For more than conqu’rors we are!
3
His Word shall not fail you, He promised;
Believe Him and all will be well;
Then go to a world that is dying,
His perfect salvation to tell!

To Michelle in Cincinnati, Ohio: Just turn your eyes upon Jesus. Open the Word and read a lot every day as you can and make it a priority to see Jesus. The more you "look into the perfect law of liberty", the more your understanding will open up and you will be able to know what to do. The Bible says that when we believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, we will be saved. Then confess with your mouth that Jesus is your Lord and Savior!

It’s really that simple- turn your gaze to Jesus not circumstances- let his Lordship calm every anxiety and dispel any lie , fear and condemnation that comes your way ! Soon this world and all its struggles, pain and hardship will pass and a new order , rule and Kingdom will reign!

His Word shall not fail you, He promised;
Believe Him and all will be well;
I believe that You are ever faithful in Your word Lord.
Your word is my hope, and I confide in it.
All will be well according to Your word of promise

Please pray that God will give me the assurance I belong to Jesus and also the eyes to see Jesus. I grew up in church and I’m 41 years old and I doubt in my salvation for about 20 years and I need a new heart and people say I love to Jesus, but I feel like I don’t see him. I just see fox in the Bible sometimes I’m convicted of my sins but I need a heart to repent, and I am tired of religious activities and I need to know Jesus myself. Please pray that my soul turns to Jesus and then I can see him personally as my own Lord and savior. And trust Him

I didn't quite recall when I last hammed the hymn but while my Pastor was preaching on the theme "fix your thoughts on Jesus", this hymn sprung out into my consciousness. "Turn your eyes upon Jesus"... What more do we loose when we fail to heed this call.

As I reflect on my personal woes and hardship in a foreign country now, and with tears welled up in my eyes, I am reminded of the absolute power of Jesus when I focus my thoughts on Him. Helps me, and every one else, Oh Lord, that we can fix our eyes on you alone.

Maranatha, Come Lord Jesus.

As we practice losing our soul-life in this age and go through sufferings and trials, the proving of our faith is being found unto praise, glory, and honor, and this will result in the receiving the end of our faith – the salvation of our souls. Hallelujah, what a sweet promise! 😀

Turn your eyes upon Jesus,
Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,
In the light of His glory and grace.

Turn your eyes upon Jesus is one of my most beloved songs, and always a go to. The song is very moving and pierces my heart every time, and keeps me grounded in the love of the Lord. I ponder this song over and over in my heart, and I am so thankful for the invitation to, “turn my eyes upon Jesus”.
