Simply trusting every day

1
Simply trusting every day;
Trusting through a stormy way;
Even when my faith is small,
Trusting Jesus, that is all.

Trusting as the moments fly,
Trusting as the days go by,
Trusting Him, whate’er befall,
  Trusting Jesus, that is all.
2
Brightly doth His Spirit shine
Into this poor heart of mine;
While He leads I cannot fall,
Trusting Jesus, that is all.
3
Singing if my way be clear,
Praying if the path be drear;
If in danger, for Him call,
Trusting Jesus, that is all.
4
Trusting Him while life shall last,
Trusting Him till earth is past,
Till His gracious advent call,
Trusting Jesus, that is all.

A sister in the Lord shared this with me. It touches me greatly. We've all gone through things that reall try us and I think we all know that the Christian walk is not an easy one, but Praise the Lord we can trust in Jesus and that is all;) Do hold on to Him my fellow saints. Much grace and peace to us all in our Lord Jesus Christ.

I just want to say thank you to those responsible for maintaining this site. I came across this song for the first time today in a hymnbook. I don't play an instrument but wanted to know what the song sounded like and was so grateful to find your website. My thoughts are so scattered these days.... I desperately needed to meditate on the words of this beautiful hymn.

I have to lose my father 10 days back. He is the most lovable person in my life. Still I am sinking in that sea of emptiness. I just wanna tell this world that "I LOVE MY DAD". "I LOVE BASKARAN". But he is not with me now. Simply trusting JESUS... That is all....

I lost my father in 2006, a bit to my graduation day. But I knew I have Someone that I have to trust forever, trusting Jesus that is all.

My husband has been unemployed for 15 months now since his second layoff. Our unemployment has just run out and there is no sign of work out there. Mortgage is behind and bills are looming...six children to care for ages 4 to 16. But, in the midst, I know that my God is faithful. Where can I go but to Him? I will trust Him what'er befall. Trusting Jesus that is all.

Words in this song remind me about strength in the presence of the Lord. Friday next week I become unemployed. So much hangs on my employment it is hard to imagine life after that. This song came fresh to my heart during our Sunday morning service. we sang "trusting till the danger be past." Humanly speaking I don't see how but I serve a faithful God who will come through. I stay in the places where I can hear His voice and I know He will yet come through.

There is nothing simple to trusting but it is so sweet to trust in Jesus. Thanks for this beautiful reminder.

This song brings tears to my eyes and comfort to my heart. No matter how bad our situations might be, we have no choice but to trust in Jesus. He is in control of everything. Praise His mighty name.

It was great to read all the other comments, a real encouragement. Today I was reading Mark 4 about Jesus calming the storm, I asked myself the same question He asked the disciples, "Why are you afraid? How can you have no faith?"

Our circumstances constantly change, I realized that my lack of faith= an unbelieving heart towards the Lord, and His person and promises. I love it in this song how it says, even if your faith is small, that is enough. Just trusting Jesus.

I was actually thinking of this song last night out of the blue, I had heard it in college a few months ago but had forgotten it, I started crying as I sang it. I surely needed to hear it. Okay, better cut this short! Grace to my brethren out there! :)
