Simply trusting every day;
Trusting through a stormy way;
Even when my faith is small,
Trusting Jesus, that is all.
Trusting through a stormy way;
Even when my faith is small,
Trusting Jesus, that is all.
Trusting as the moments fly,
Trusting as the days go by,
Trusting Him, whate’er befall,
Trusting Jesus, that is all.
Trusting as the days go by,
Trusting Him, whate’er befall,
Trusting Jesus, that is all.
2
Brightly doth His Spirit shine
Into this poor heart of mine;
While He leads I cannot fall,
Trusting Jesus, that is all.
Into this poor heart of mine;
While He leads I cannot fall,
Trusting Jesus, that is all.
3
Singing if my way be clear,
Praying if the path be drear;
If in danger, for Him call,
Trusting Jesus, that is all.
Praying if the path be drear;
If in danger, for Him call,
Trusting Jesus, that is all.
4
Trusting Him while life shall last,
Trusting Him till earth is past,
Till His gracious advent call,
Trusting Jesus, that is all.
Trusting Him till earth is past,
Till His gracious advent call,
Trusting Jesus, that is all.

When I lost my husband after just two years of marriage this hymn kept me going and is keeping me. It lifts my spirit anytime I sing it. God is in control in spite of our circumstances. May His Name be praised. Amen.

How I love this song. I do not like the situations that have taught me to trust the Lord, and are teaching me still, but it has taken each one to work trust into my being. I find that truly I do sing, pray, and call daily, and when it seems that there is never again to be the light of day, BRIGHTLY DOES HIS SPIRIT SHINE, yet again, INTO THIS HEART OF MINE. PRAISE THE LORD.
Whatever situation we are in, what we need to do is to trust in God, because God always arranges the best environment for us.
It's important to know that whatever our situations are, we should always trust God! No one said running the race was going to be easy.. and we need a lot of trust in God to run it!
