Just woke up with this old high school hymn on my mind so I started to search for it. I had lost my Advent hymnal in the mail years ago. God in his mercy brings back to my mind all the time, wonderful hymns which, sadly, are no longer sung. Now I have a loooong list of songs, choruses, hymns, poems from childhood, high school and college. These cheer my heart. Thanks to God for preserving this beautifull song.

it's 1:24am in the morning. I was praying unto God and pouring out my heart before him some minutes ago, when this song came into my heart I believe by the unction of the Holy Spirit. I didn't remember the lyrics so I google it. I feel great and nurtured by the words of the hymn. I believe God is telling me through the hymn to be a channel to bless d fellowship group with the message He gave me this night in John 11. God bless all by whom this hymn is ours today.

I was asked to take up a prayer meeting with the Elders of the church in our Joint Leadership meeting. The Spirit of the Lord just whisper to me that you are all Channels only. The Lord's love has laid hold of us, saved and cleansed us to be used as channels of blessings to the body of Christ. Oh what a privilege.
