Just as I am

Gospel Coming to the Lord

English1048
1
Just as I am, without one plea,
But that Thy blood was shed for me,
And that Thou bid’st me come to Thee,
O Lamb of God, I come! I come!
2
Just as I am, and waiting not
To rid my soul of one dark blot;
To Thee whose blood can cleanse each spot,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!
3
Just as I am, though tossed about
With many a conflict, many a doubt;
Fightings within, and fears without,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!
4
Just as I am, poor, wretched, blind;
Sight, riches, healing of the mind;
Yes, all I need, in Thee to find,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!
5
Just as I am, Thou wilt receive,
Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve;
Because Thy promise I believe,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!
6
Just as I am, Thy love unknown
Has broken every barrier down;
Now, to be Thine, yea, Thine alone,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!

Thank you my love for the great sacrifice you offered on my behalf and the whole world , that we may be reunited with our maker and become one with him in His image and likeness. With a grateful heart I worship and declare that I am yours forever. Thank you Jesus. I love you much more than words can express. May my life ever be a refection of you that others also will be drawn to you. Amen

What a soul-refreshing hymn, constantly reminding us that we came to Jesus just as we were — broken by sin (Romans 3:23), bound by the chains of this world’s wickedness (John 8:34), weary, sick, discouraged, and worn out (Matthew 11:28). But praise the Lord! As we came to Him, He gave us new life (2 Corinthians 5:17); He exchanged His strength for our weakness (Isaiah 40:29), His righteousness for our sin (2 Corinthians 5:21).

Just as we are, we come to You, O Lamb of God (John 1:29), trusting in Your mercy and grace (Hebrews 4:16).

We come to you dear Lord Jesus in humility for the expensive but free gift of redemption and salvation you have made possible through your blood shed on the cross of calvary. Because of this we have the hope of eternal life in heaven.

Dear friends may the sacrifice of Jesus Christ not be in vain in our lives.

Let's strive to enter into the narrow way that leadeth to eternal life and avoid the broad way that leadeth to destruction (Matt 7:13-14)
