In 2008 I lost my mother and as I traveled to attend the burial, I received a call informing me that my father had also passed. Deep in my heart while on bus I sung this song, "It's well with my soul." The years that would follow will be so trying but.. "It's well with my soul."

This is a great hymn. However, the chord changes are incorrect for the version I know. Should be:

I will never forget when, as a young believer in the Lord, I went to the restroom to take a break at work. (I was struggling. I couldn't understand why it was that after confessing so many times, I still was carrying the burden of past sins.) This song rose up in me, and I got fully released!!!! My sins - IN WHOLE - have been NAILED to the cross!!!! Hallelujah, NAILED!!! NOT THUMBTACKED! They can't ever come down again! I went back to work - never the same again. Lord Jesus, thank You for Your all-inclusive death! I love You!
