I'm currently on fasting in my list for today I wrote-it is well with my soul, I went through the lyrics and I started to remember how God has been with me losing my sister through suicide and other 3 siblings in a space of 2 years. Then on the 20/04/2014 after fasting my child was comatose the liver shut down. It was hurting so bad that I prayed so hard then the Lord comfort me I felt His hand and this song reminds me of praising through pain. Read some testimonies I'm in tears. It has been a very difficult times for me in particular, as well as the entire family. I lost my elder sister on the 10th of this month, on the 16th, my immediate elder sister reported her two girls aged between 10 and 12 years missing in Abuja. By the grace of God they were found the next day by a Good Samaritan, 15 kilometers in Nassarawa State, while we were rejoicing and thanking God for His faithfulness, we got the most shocking news, the next day 17th, of the murder in Abuja of my niece's husband. The family is in shock, all these happening in quick succession, in less than two weeks. The feelings of pain, agony, despondent, but the word of God comes strong, very strong and alive in this situation and times, that He will never leave nor forsake us. This song is all I keep singing, and it lifts my spirit. In all situation an circumstance we find ourself, we are required to always give thanks and praise to God, for He is the all knowing God. He alone is God.

My kid sister was in a terrible accident that resulted in a below the knee amputation about 6 weeks ago and we used to sing the chorus of this song the 1st 3 weeks when it was really hard to deal with and up till now, we receive the unbelievable comfort of the Holy Spirit anytime we are done with singing it.
