For I’m persuaded to believe

At the very bottom are the lyrics I learned as a boy and we had a contest for several hundreds of people, on who could sing it the fastest. They would record you and then play it back at a much slower speed to make sure you said every word. I won.

I am 56 years old now and two Sabbaths ago, with 2 to 3 times as many people attending church due to Faith Camp being hosted at our church for the 15th year, and the pastor was quoting from Romans 8:38-39, and I broke out into the song with my very loud, booming voice. The pastor thanked me in the moment, and several people came up to thank me after church during the 600 to 700 person Fellowship Meal we have every week. It was really cool that these lyrics are still ingrained in my head.

For I'm persuaded to believe that you can't separate us from the wonderful love of God. For above he will send us, if you let him live with in us, while in this sinful world we trod. Neither heights, nor depths, nor principalities, things present or things to come. Though the Devil hate us, he can never separate us, from the wonderful love of God.

It just came to mind after years & I really enjoy the bright rollicking tune, I've written over 60 poems & a few songs myself & one has a tune that makes me feel like dancing a jig.
