Christ has a FULL redemption made.

Hallelujah! He is out Savior, Master Lord. It is amazing, wonderful. Jesus redeemed us from our sins

I was thinking about redemption this morning. This hymn came to me. Christ paid the full price for our sin, a price no one can apprehend. I see something more this morning.

When the blood runs out of a mammal it means the life is over. This means the life has gone. He gave His life for us. God died for US! God’s righteousness requires blood for forgiveness of sin. Jesus was not an animal, not just a man, He is the perfect Godman. God had no reason to judge Him. But for our sakes He was made in the likeness of sin, but He had NO sin. Because of this God judged Him and transferred all the sin of man onto Him. ALL our sin was laid on Him according to God’s righteousness. We certainly can not comprehend that. This portrays the love of God to us. This is His loving grace. He took God’s judgement in place of us. He has now paid the full price for our redemption. There is no way to understand that love that was poured out on us. Now we all must proclaim “what a wonderful Savior is Jesus my Savior, what a wonderful Savior is Jesus my Lord! ” There is now no offering for sin. Jesus paid it all! WHAT A WONDERFUL SAVIOR!

I have sung this hymn from my youth. I know He is a wonderful Savior. As a result of knowing Him as my Savior I begin to love Him. Then I can consecrate myself to Him. To Him I have given all my heart. But in my experience , I give it (He gains it) little by little. I can now sing each day “what a wonderful savior is Jesus my Savior”.

Back in the early 90s, my Dad Pastored a branch of The Apostolic Faith Church in Ariaria, Aba, Abia State - South Eastern Nigeria. The late choir master, Brother Friday Johnson, would conduct this hymn in a most fascinating way, stamping his right foot on the floor whenever they switched to the chorus. My siblings and I loved it. So it created a beautiful, never-for gotten memory of this song in our little hearts.

Minutes ago, I sang through the entire stanzas reminiscing on those good, old days of learning many beautiful hymns every Sunday with Brother Friday Johnson who has long joined the choir celestial.

What a wonderful Saviour we have!
We are redeemed! The price is paid in full!
We're no more slaves; not to sin, not to Satan.
He's reconciled our souls to God and reigns within.
Hallelujah!

I woke up with this song on my lips. He is a wonderful savior! When I look back over my life I see He has saved me from so many things. I’m not just saved from Gods judgements by His judicial redemption, but I’m being saved from my old corrupted self life. I gave my life to Him when I was a teen ager. Now over the years I see He has gained some of my heart. Because I love the brothers. The Lord has enlarged my heart to care for others and to preach the gospel. I’m saved from the world and it’s vain promises. Now I trust in Him and His promises. What a wonderful savior. He is my Savior!
