Does Jesus care when my heart is pained

Comfort in Trials By the Lord’s Care

English695
1
Does Jesus care when my heart is pained
Too deeply for mirth or song,
As the burdens press,
And the cares distress,
And the way grows weary and long?

O yes, He cares, I know He cares,
His heart is touched with my grief;
When the days are weary,
The long night dreary,
I know my Savior cares.
2
Does Jesus care when my way is dark
With a nameless dread and fear?
As the daylight fades
Into deep night shades,
Does He care enough to be near?
3
Does Jesus care when I’ve tried and failed
To resist some temptation strong;
When for my deep grief
There is no relief,
Though my tears flow all the night long?
4
Does Jesus care when I’ve said “goodbye”
To the dearest on earth to me,
And my sad heart aches
Till it nearly breaks,
Is it aught to Him? Does He see?

Oh yes He cares! Through the midst of trials, troubles, very deep despair and the feeling of terrible aloneness, I know my Savior cares! I am so thankful He cares for me, when my heart is still or when troubled, I know He cares.

I found my myself between the devil and the deep sea, with the cannibal around my side and no weapon to defend myself. I knew I was in a state call dilemma, but for His care and concern, I'd be history. Thank You Jesus.

Oh, I am so happy that He cares, because I was thinking if He sees me at all, but I am indeed grateful that He knows me.

I found this song at a time I was losing it. Hope was slipping away, faith was weak and I was despondent, lonely and weary! This song lifts my spirit...it's comforting to be reassured that Jesus cares at such a time!

Touched my heart with tears flowing my eyes as this song was my father's favourite, which played on his death on 16th Nov, 2010.

O yes He cares. It is so good to know this and to share it with others because many people feel so lonely and it's only when we reach out to them that we know they need to know that "o yes He cares" for real.

I became to learn this hymn when our pastor gave sermon last Sunday. Before one lady's husband who was faithful to the Lord in our church and had been sick for several years went to the Lord's presence she sang this hymn holding his hand. 'Our Savior is good shepherd.' He knows our hearts. He gives us eternal life. At the evening service we sang together thinking of him in the presence of the Lord.

I have always been inspired by this song. It really applies in all the seasons of our lives. Knowing that Jesus cares gives energy and courage to move forward. May God continue hearing and caring for all the dark chapters of our lives. Amen.
