O God our Father, we would come to Thee

Worship of the Father His Praise from Many Sons

English55
1
O God our Father, we would come to Thee
In virtue of our Savior’s precious blood;
All distance gone, our souls by grace set free,
We worship Thee, our Father and our God.
2
We would, O God, present before Thy face
The fragrant name of Thy beloved Son;
By faith we view Him through Thy boundless grace,
Which, by His dying, He for us has won.
3
Thy joy in Him who is with Thee we share;
Our hearts delight in Thy delight in Him;
Chiefest of thousands, fairer than the fair;
His glory nought can tarnish, nought can dim.
4
We bow in worship now before Thy throne,
By faith the Object of Thy love would see;
Who, in the midst, His brethren’s song doth lead.
To Him, our Savior, shall the glory be!

42. Crying with Our Spirit, “Abba, Father”

The Spirit not only witnesses with our spirit that we are children of God but also cries with our spirit, “Abba, Father! ” Galatians 4:6 says, “Because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, Abba, Father! ” God gave His Spirit to us when we were regenerated to become sons of God. Romans 8:15 says that we “have received a spirit of sonship in which we cry, Abba, Father! ” The spirit of sonship here denotes our regenerated human spirit mingled with the Spirit of the Son of God. Sonship in this spirit includes the life, the position, the living, the enjoyment, the birthright, the inheritance, and the manifestation of a son. Such a Spirit with the all-inclusive sonship, which is also the Spirit of God’s Son, is now in our spirit and cries with our spirit, “Abba, Father! ”

Romans 8:15 and Galatians 4:6 are parallel verses. The former says that we who have received a spirit of sonship cry in this spirit, “Abba, Father! ” whereas the latter says that the Spirit of God’s Son is crying in our hearts, “Abba, Father! ” This indicates that our regenerated spirit and the Spirit of God are mingled as one, and that our spirit is in our heart. When we cry, “Abba, Father! ” He cries with us in our crying. Such a crying expresses our strong affection to the Father; it also implies an intimate relationship in life between us and God our Father. When we are in the fellowship of the Triune God, the Spirit brings us into the enjoyment and experience of such sweetness and intimacy.

Our hearts delight in Thy delight in Him!

Mat 3:17 - And behold, a voice out of the heavens, saying, This is My Son, the Beloved, in whom I have found My delight.

2Pe 1:17 - For He received from God the Father honor and glory, a voice such as this being borne to Him by the magnificent glory: This is My Son, My Beloved, in whom I delight.

Praise the Lord that since from His baptism, until He received glory and honor, He is the delight of the Father and our heart's delight.

Dear saints who is laboring in the love of our Father God and His Son Jesus Christ and in the fellowship of the Holy Spirit. Thank you so very much for this simple and pure sacred music. I have been searching through YouTube for number of years and never been so happy. I have found the music that truly belongs the kingdom of the Lord. This music is so simple and pure; no mixtures, no contaminations of worldly and fleshly feelings. This music brings me into the realm of the Triune God. May the Lord continue to bless you all who are laboring in this work. May the God of comfort, comfort your spirit, mind, emotion, and will and body; as your music ministers to us with the life and love of God, our Father. Amen, forever and ever. God bless you richly. Amen.
