I also sung this song as a child in church and as I heard it sung at home by my parents & grandparents, along with my favorite.. I Can Here My Savior Calling. Oh how blessed I am and have been! Today, with CeCe Winans "Mercy Said No", once again, enter into the presence of our Lord, God and Savior'... Jesus Christ.

Thank You Lord for sovereignly creating us to be Your vessels to contain You for Your glory. Lord, keep us open to You under Your sovereignty so that You may have a free way to work Yourself into us and be built up together into the divine-human constitution, the Body of Christ, that expresses You in your glory! We just want to be filled with You as our rich content to express You corporately as the organism of the Triune God, the Body of Christ! Have Thine own way, Lord, Have Thine own way 🙏

I try to remember to sing this every day to my Heavenly Father near the beginning of my time with Him. It is my desire that I be more like Christ everyday. And for my family, friends, and all I meet would see Him in me. I pray always for all to come to Jesus because there is no other way to get to heaven.

I am so blessed by the prayers and comments below. This hymn came to me this morning while reading Matthew 16:25 “For whoever wishes to save his life will lose it but whoever loses his life for my sake will find it. For what will a man be profited, if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? ”

Lord I pray, help me not to be inordinately preoccupied with the things of this world. “Hold o’er my being absolute sway, Fill with Thy spirit til all shall see, Christ always, only, living in me! ”

King Jesus, I ask for Your Grace to "be still" so I can learn to be "quick to listen and slow to speak". You love me in spite of my many distractions and excuses. Unveil You love now to me and through me a world You love and laid down Your life for. Teach me to die to self, yield completely, love as You love.

I sought this hymn this morning as I am praying for the Lord to help me as I help my daughter. I am not sure of how to help, other than pray. I am beseeching God to Have His Own Way in my life and in hers. Please Lord Help.

This song came to me early this morning as I watch the sun rising in my porch. It brings tears to my eyes, as I can only think of the Savior who created this beautiful day! Praise You, LORD!

In the early morning hours of today, this hymn came into my mind. How blessed am I to be able to read these lyrics and sing as I have through the years. This is so personal and uplifting and I praise You my God.
