Just as I am

Gospel Coming to the Lord

English1048
1
Just as I am, without one plea,
But that Thy blood was shed for me,
And that Thou bid’st me come to Thee,
O Lamb of God, I come! I come!
2
Just as I am, and waiting not
To rid my soul of one dark blot;
To Thee whose blood can cleanse each spot,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!
3
Just as I am, though tossed about
With many a conflict, many a doubt;
Fightings within, and fears without,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!
4
Just as I am, poor, wretched, blind;
Sight, riches, healing of the mind;
Yes, all I need, in Thee to find,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!
5
Just as I am, Thou wilt receive,
Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve;
Because Thy promise I believe,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!
6
Just as I am, Thy love unknown
Has broken every barrier down;
Now, to be Thine, yea, Thine alone,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!

Another of my favourites while at Fiwasaye Girls Grammar School, Akure, Nigeria. Demostrates how willing Jesus is to welcome us as we are to His side anytime we come to Him. I love Jesus.

Yes LORD the whole of me. Thank You LORD for Your love, for dying for me. If not for You LORD, what will my Israel be saying. I will forever be grateful and praise You till I breathe my last breath in JESUS CHRIST mighty name.

As I complete my day 4 lesson in Discipleship, our meditative scripture was John 16. This chapter ends in one of my favorite verses, but even now I am just convicted in spirit , heart and mind. So I started singing this hymn. I came to refresh my memory and put the words in order. The last two stanzas are so important and for me healing. Singing it convicts and frees you to be alone with our Savior. Hallelujah !!!
