Just as I am

Gospel Coming to the Lord

English1048
1
Just as I am, without one plea,
But that Thy blood was shed for me,
And that Thou bid’st me come to Thee,
O Lamb of God, I come! I come!
2
Just as I am, and waiting not
To rid my soul of one dark blot;
To Thee whose blood can cleanse each spot,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!
3
Just as I am, though tossed about
With many a conflict, many a doubt;
Fightings within, and fears without,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!
4
Just as I am, poor, wretched, blind;
Sight, riches, healing of the mind;
Yes, all I need, in Thee to find,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!
5
Just as I am, Thou wilt receive,
Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve;
Because Thy promise I believe,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!
6
Just as I am, Thy love unknown
Has broken every barrier down;
Now, to be Thine, yea, Thine alone,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!

This hymn brings people back to total repentance. God needs those seeking him in spirit and in Truth. It reminds me of how I am loved and of how my sins and blotted out and atoned for by Jesus Christ.

😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 It brings tears of regrets how how we have wasted our time in secular things.

Always brings tears to my eyes that we have such a Savior, true God, yet fully God. Hey died on the cross as a sacrifice to cleanse from all sin, as a perfect sacrifice, once and for all, that we might confidently go to heaven clean from all sin.

I thank you Lord Jesus Christ for your ever flowing mercy. I thank you that you sacrificed your life that I may be forgiven and have life, and have it abundantly.

Oh father in heaven please teach me not to condemn myself the world, nor the people in it. To hate sin, and not the sinner.

Just as I am, Thou wilt receive,
Wilt welcome, pardon, cleanse, relieve;
Because Thy promise I believe,
O Lamb of God, I come, I come!

I want to be like you father, to forgive the worst and to forget the bad, to see others the way you see me.

In Jesus name I pray, Amen.
