Über die Zahlennotation

Die Zahlennotation (auch Jianpu oder 简谱 genannt) schreibt jede Melodienote als Zahl von 1 bis 7 statt als Note auf einem Notensystem. Die Zahl zeigt die Stellung der Note in der Tonleiter des Liedes -- nicht ihre genaue Tonhöhe --, sodass dieselbe Melodie unabhängig von der gesungenen Tonart gleich aussieht.

Innerhalb einer Oktave entsprechen die Zahlen 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 den bekannten Solmisationssilben Do Re Mi Fa Sol La Ti. Ein Punkt über einer Zahl hebt sie um eine Oktave an; ein Punkt darunter senkt sie um eine Oktave ab -- ohne Punkt bleibt es bei der mittleren, so geschriebenen Oktave.

Eine einzelne Zahl dauert einen Schlag. Ein Bindestrich (-) direkt nach einer Zahl hält dieselbe Note einen weiteren Schlag lang. Ein Strich unter einer Zahl verkürzt sie dagegen -- ein Strich ist ein halber Schlag, zwei Striche ein viertel Schlag. Eine 0 ist eine Pause: ein Schlag Stille.

Die Angabe oben auf dem Notenblatt, zum Beispiel "1=C" oder "1=Ab", zeigt, auf welcher Tonhöhe die Stufe 1 ("Do") liegt. Ein Lied in Moll trägt stattdessen die Angabe "6=X" -- Stufe 6 ("La") ist dann der eigentliche Grundton. Akkordsymbole über den Noten (wie "C" oder "G7") werden immer mit ihren gewohnten Buchstabennamen geschrieben, nie als Zahlen.

Bei der Angabe "1=C" klingen die Zahlen 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 als C D E F G A B. Bei "1=G" klingen dieselben Zahlen dagegen als G A B C D E F# -- gleiche Form, andere Tonart.

WHAT IS LIFE?

First, we will see what life is. In order to know life, we must know what life is. It is rather difficult to explain; hence, we really need the mercy of the Lord. According to the teaching of the Bible, at least six points should be mentioned in order to make this subject clear.

ONLY THE LIFE OF GOD BEING LIFE

When explaining what life is, we must first be clear about one thing—the kind of life in the universe that can be counted as life. First John 5:12 says, “He who has the Son has the life; he who does not have the Son of God does not have the life. ” John 3:36 also says, “He who believes into the Son has eternal life; but he who disobeys the Son shall not see life. ” These two verses tell us that unless man has the life of God, he does not have life. This shows that in the eyes of God, only His life is life; besides that, no other life can be counted as life. Thus, when the life of God is mentioned in the Bible, it is treated as if it is the unique life (1:4; 10:10; 11:25; 14:6; etc. ).

Only the life of God is life, and other lives are not counted as life, because only the life of God is divine and eternal.

I remember, more than 30 years ago as I young man, I attended the AG church 84 Ohanku Rd Aba, and the choir did a glorious rendition of this piece and the congregation gave such an earth shaking applause.

I remember the pastor got vexed and hushed everyone down, reminding us that it's a song about the impending judgement of God and we were applauding. Then I think he asked how many of us were ready should the judgement fall at the very moment. The church became as silent as.... and before you knew with, cries from every angle as everyone saw his/her self
