Not Too Fast, Not Too Slow

Gospel God’s Creation

1
Not too fast, not too slow,
God turns the earth.
One turn gives a day and night:
So precisely right.
Day, night,
God turns the earth.
God turns our earth
So precisely right.
Day, night,
God turns the earth.
God turns our earth
So precisely right.
2
Not too hot, not too cold,
God placed the earth:
Not too close and not too far,
Exactly where we are.
Not too
Hot or too cold;
God placed our earth
Exactly where we are.
Not too
Hot or too cold;
God placed our earth
Exactly where we are.
Parts 1 to 3 can be sung together.

How could this be a Bible story song when there are no references to the earth turning in the Bible. The Bible mentions that an earth will stagger one day like a drunkard, but that will be the day of judgement. It's a nice idea, but probably as biblical as the evolution.
