I used to love singing this hymn as a child in my church. I still love singing it as an adult.

Was studying my bible and this hymn just wells up in my spirit.
Don't know if anyone loves hymns like I do. I have a whole lot on my playlist.
Don't stop worshipping and praising God in spirit and truth. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life.

I am a great sinner, but Christ is a greater savior.

As a reluctant draftee during the Vietnam era that song was truly a comfort and blessing to me!
I had never heard it until I was in a religious service in station in Texas. It brought comfort before being shipped to Vietnam!

There is rememberance, strength, and peace in praising our God when one is in need of healing and restoration ❣️🎉 Our victory and overcoming in Christ ❣️🎉

~As I was digging into Lamentations 4:8, and thinking back to the Spiritual famine in which I lived, apart from THE LORD, and to where HE has brought me (still imperfect…but HE’S working! ), these words came joyfully screaming into my mind and heart…

I am part of a text chain of men who worship God. Our group leader placed an afternoon call for all men to Praise God. I remembered this song as a young boy in church about 40 years ago. I always sing it to myself, but now shared it with the others as a form of Praise and Worship.

The song reminds me of how we are going to be singing God’s praise for eternity in heaven. My soul shall magnify the Lord all the days of my live here bellow. Amen!

I will be going to bless the high-schoolers of two local schools next week (D. V. ) and I asked the LORD how should I open in prayer. And He gave me the first verse of this hymn. Amazing are His ways!
