I must tell Jesus all of my trials

1
I must tell Jesus all of my trials;
I cannot bear these burdens alone;
In my distress He kindly will help me;
He ever loves and cares for His own.
  I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!
I cannot bear my burdens alone;
I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!
  Jesus can help me, Jesus alone.
2
I must tell Jesus all of my troubles;
He is a kind, compassionate Friend;
If I but ask Him, He will deliver,
And in my griefs with me He will blend.
3
Tempted and tried I need a great Savior,
One who can help my burdens to bear;
I must tell Jesus, I must tell Jesus;
He all my cares and sorrows will share,
4
O how the world to evil allures me!
O how my heart is tempted to sin!
I must tell Jesus; He will enable
Over the world the vic’try to win.

So many people for all over the world have posted such heart-felt comments. Personally I'm touched. Before posting something I'd pause awhile deeply thinking about exactly what I should post. This is what I came up with... this song reminds me that we can and should at any time and any where come tell Jesus all our problems and blessing, our sorrow and our joy. I praise the LORD for He hears us when we call.

I woke up with this song on my heart and I wanted to see all the words and this is where I found them. It's a blessing as I go into surgery tomorrow morning. I'm encouraged so by it, but especially by all those who took the time to make comments. I'm praying for everyone of you. You have touched my heart profoundly. Thank God for His glorious mercy.

I have just used this for our Emergency Prayer Team at our church and I am waiting to hear if any have been helped by it! It speaks words of comfort to me, as I am going through breast cancer that is in remission at the moment. I have a decision to make whether to start back on my Cancer medicine that I am to use for 5 years, or not. So I'm leaving that Decision up to My Precious Jesus! I have told Him all my Problems and He will Help me through it all!

Thank you for this site, it is very helpful to me!!

God Bless You All!

Elisha Hoffman wrote this hymn after having a lady come to him under much grief and worry, ringing her hands, she stated I do not know what to do, and Elisha Hoffman told her to tell it to Jesus alone....she remarked...that's it...that's it...I need to tell it to Jesus...and she that came with much worry left with great joy in her heart

In 2008 I was diagnosed with Non-hogkins Lymphoma and went through 14 chemo treatments. All through my trial, I was so comforted by this song. While I am now in remission, I still sing this song to myself during days of uncertainty. Thanks.

Sadness has tried to engulf me, yet this song came to mind. I needed to see the words and you had them. Thank you.

Pray that I will indeed tell Him all and come to know Him as He says He is!

This is a favorite song of my Daddy's who is dying of pancreatic cancer. He has suffered much in his life, but learned to tell Jesus. If only the Lord will give me as much grace to live and die as my broken but trusting Daddy.
