跟著唱:do re mi fa sol,再唱回 do。

1=C:do 就是 C。
1=G:同樣的數字,從較高的音開始。

小調:「6=A」

這是詩歌第 8 首「Praise God, from whom all blessings flow」第一句的簡譜寫法。

1=G,4/4 拍。先休止三拍,第 4 拍唱「Praise」。7、6、5 下方的圓點表示這幾個音低八度。

I have learned the wondrous secret

Experience of Christ Abiding in Him

English564
1
I have learned the wondrous secret
Of abiding in the Lord;
I have tasted life’s pure fountain,
I am drinking of His word;
I have found the strength and sweetness
Of abiding ’neath the blood;
I have lost myself in Jesus,
I am sinking into God.

I’m abiding in the Lord
And confiding in His word;
I am hiding in the bosom of His love.
Yes, abiding in the Lord
And confiding in His word,
I am hiding in the bosom of His love.
2
I am crucified with Jesus,
And He lives and dwells with me;
I have ceased from all my struggling,
’Tis no longer I, but He.
All my will is yielding to Him,
And His Spirit reigns within;
And His precious blood each moment
Keeps me cleansed and free from sin.
3
All my sicknesses I bring Him,
And He bears them all away;
All my fears and griefs I tell Him,
All my cares from day to day,
All my strength I draw from Jesus,
By His breath I live and move;
E’en His very mind He gives me,
And His faith, and life, and love.
4
For my words I take His wisdom,
For my works His Spirit’s power;
For my ways His ceaseless presence
Guards and guides me every hour.
Of my heart, He is the portion,
Of my joy the boundless spring;
Savior, Sanctifier, Healer,
Glorious Lord, and coming King.

Today, a dear older sister called me from her nursing home in great need of companionship and comfort. She knew that I'd experienced much comfort from the Lord in recent years during a serious health problem and might have a timely word for her. As I considered what to share with her, these words came to mind. 🎶 I have lost myself in Jesus, I am sinking into God. 🎶 At a time of utter frailty and total dependence on others, the Lord led me into the experience of those anointed words. When a real surrendering occurred in my inward parts, I experienced the great comfort of being lost in Jesus and sinking into God! I shared those precious hymn words with her and she was comforted and refreshed! I have a feeling those words (and the entire hymn) will draw her into a deeper fellowship with the Lord, as they have for me.

Praise the Lord! I've discovered the secret: I stopped struggling and started letting Jesus live through me. Because I am crucified with Christ, it's no longer I who live—He lives in me! As I yield my will to His Spirit and trust His cleansing blood, I find rest from my own efforts. Hallelujah, I'm just hiding in the bosom of His love! 😀

The central thought of the Bible is that God desires us to live Christ for the building up of the Body of Christ. The main point of our Christian life is to live Christ. To live Christ should be our primary goal; all the troubles in our Christian life come because of our not living Christ. We need to practice to live Christ, realizing that He is the life-giving Spirit in our spirit, until we live Christ habitually.

The climax, the highest point, of the divine revelation in the entire Bible is to live Christ. In order to live Christ, we must practice being one spirit with Him, and in order to practice being one spirit with Him, we must exercise our spirit to pray unceasingly. If we pray unceasingly from our spirit, “Lord, live in me; Lord, live through me, ” we will build up a habit of not living our self but Christ; then we will live Christ habitually. The habit of living Christ is the habit of prayer. Apart from unceasingly praying, we cannot live Christ. It is only by such continual prayer, such breathing prayer, that we can live Christ spontaneously. In order to have such a prayer life, we must watch and pray, praying at every time in spirit, watching unto prayer in all petition, and persevering in prayer (Matt. 26:41 ; Eph. 6:18 ; Col. 4:2). Moreover, the foundation for us to pray is our love for the Lord. Because we love the Lord and seek Him, we like to contact Him, pray to Him, and call upon Him. Part of the secret of living Christ is telling the Lord again and again that we love Him.

Tis no longer I but He...... More and more, day by day, He works His way into us to be our Life and everything, this is our transformation. This is our salvation. Lord continue to saturate us with your loving Spirit, to the extent we are conformed to your image and likeness. This is a blessing available to all who believe................

I have learned the secret of abiding in his word. In my spirit I have this fountain of life.

For the word of the cross is to those who are perishing foolishness, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 1 Corinthians 1:18

Please change last sentence in previous post to “The abiding, which is to remain with the Lord, is directly related to our touching Him in the Word on a regular basis. ”

Albert Simpson found the secret of abiding in the Lord. It is the fruit of being in the Bible and drinking [and eating] of the Spirit in the Word. He says over again and again in the chorus “I’m abiding in the Lord and confiding in His Word. ” His life was spent constantly in the riches of the Word. I’m reminded of the words in John chapter 6. “The words I speak unto you are Spirit and they are life” if we want to have our life in Christ, that’s abiding, we must let that Word abide in us richly. By abiding in the Lord we develop a sweet close relationship with Christ where we can take all our sickness and all our problems. Then He gives us wisdom how to live in these things and how to speak. Over time we can say He is my portion. So there is a real secrete to growing this close relationship. It comes from having our the Word in our hands consistently in faith. It does not happen over night.
