We're out to discern the holy will of God. Now I fear to do the will of my flesh than ever.
When I was pondering how to discern the will of God from the will of the flesh, the second stanzard of the song came to my mind

Woke up from a dream about a silver cup of grape juice (communion? ); this song was in my mind and heart. ..... "Spirit of God, my teacher be; showing the things of Christ to me."
When I hear and sing this song, it brings me tears of joy. It has such a simple but profound message. It is about a soul that peacefully yearns for more of Jesus, something all Christians have done at some point in our lives. As I child it touched me. As an adult it still touches me but in a more powerful way as I understand more about the Gospel. Now I preach this Gospel and it is a joy to do so. God bless the woman who wrote this beautiful song! It still blesses today!

I used to hear this lovely song from the choir of my Church as a little boy growing in Lagos.
As I knew more about the love of God in Christ Jesus, the song keeps popping out of my spirit.
