I really like this song. God bless you.
Tamale, Northern Region
The hymn is deeply inspiring, reminding me always where my glory lies. But why did you change the chorus, pls can we know?
New Douglas, IL
I love this hymn! But where did you find your version of the chorus. It doesn't come from Fanny Crosby who wrote the song. Just wondering. When I did our church bulletin for tonight I did not catch that difference in time. And I do prefer Fanny Crosby's word. God bless.

My strength is renewed when ever I listen to these inspire words, this must be the going of the Holy Spirit. The cross is our path to destiny and the hope for eternity. God bless the writer.

I remember the late Pentecostal Apostolic Bishop David L. Ellis used to sing this hymn all the time and even recorded different versions of it on his Traditional Gospel albums in the 1990's. May the legacy of the man who wrote this beautiful hymn live on forever!

God bless you for singing such a song.

I always feel humbled when I think of the writer of this song. I have always shared the testimony of the writer of this song to many. May the Lord bless more as they sing this song.

Thanks be to God for His blessing and mercy upon me every day of my life. I will keep on serving Him till I see His face. God bless the writer of this song. This song keep holding me, and I do believe that there is a true living God.

This is another Fanny Crosby/William Doane collaboration. In this case, Doane's tune came first, and Crosby's words after. When hymns are composed in this way, the words sometimes seem stilted and unnatural, but not here. Crosby was masterful at hearing the message in the music. She would often say, "That tune says to me ...,", and then write a stirring text. - Great Songs of Faith by Brown & Norton

Beautifully coded and played.... will sing with joyful lips... Jesus keep me the cross.
