1
Thou art the Sun of righteousness
With healing in Thy wings;
The shining of Thy glorious face
To us Thy riches brings.
With healing in Thy wings;
The shining of Thy glorious face
To us Thy riches brings.
2
The tender mercy of our God
Caused Thee on us to dawn,
To those in darkness giving light
That shades of death be gone.
Caused Thee on us to dawn,
To those in darkness giving light
That shades of death be gone.
3
Thou art the Morning without clouds,
And as the Morning Light;
We are the tender grass on earth,
Who in Thy rays delight.
And as the Morning Light;
We are the tender grass on earth,
Who in Thy rays delight.
4
Thy shining light with pleasant rays
Increases all the way;
It shines within us more and more
Until the perfect day.
Increases all the way;
It shines within us more and more
Until the perfect day.
5
It shines thru woe with clearest beams,
As shining after rain;
And in Thy mercy with Thy love
Thy shining e’er remains.
As shining after rain;
And in Thy mercy with Thy love
Thy shining e’er remains.
6
Thou also art the Morning Star
To us as a reward;
While still ’tis dark it shines with light
To those who love the Lord.
To us as a reward;
While still ’tis dark it shines with light
To those who love the Lord.
7
Lord, help us e’er to love Thy light
And see things from afar;
And look for Thee in watch and prayer
As for the Morning Star.
And see things from afar;
And look for Thee in watch and prayer
As for the Morning Star.

THE PROPHET MALACHI
Malachi was another representative figure among the prophets. The last two prophets in the Old Testament are Zechariah and Malachi, and both prophets testify of the coming Christ. Malachi says that the Lord’s coming would be like the Sun of righteousness arising ( 4:2 ). He also says that when Christ appears, He will be like a refiner’s fire and like fullers’ soap to refine and purify all of man’s filthiness ( 3:2-3 ). The book of Malachi has many words like this. This indicates that as we participate in the Lord’s work today, there is no need to argue about who is right and who is wrong, who is faithful and who is not faithful, who is living before the Lord and who is not living before the Lord, or whose intention is pure and whose intention is not pure. We do not need to say anything for ourselves, because everything will be made clear at His coming. This is similar to what Paul says in 1 Corinthians 4:5 : “Do not judge anything before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and make manifest the counsels of the hearts, and then there will be praise to each from God. ” Before that time we should only keep a God-fearing heart. What we do today will become manifest at the Lord’s coming.

Lord Jesus, You are the Sun of righteousness, with healing in Your wings,
The shining of Your glorious face, brings all Your riches to us
To us who love You and Your appearing!
Lord Jesus, You are the Morning Star, as a reward to us,
In this dark age, You are shining bright, as a lamp of light
To us who love You and Your appearing!
Lord Jesus, keep us to love Your light, and see things from afar,
And look for You in watch and prayer, as the Morning Star to us
To us who love You and Your appearing!

A lovely masterpiece of revealing Christ to us through the application of the scriptures. So refreshing, so comforting, and so full of grace!

Lying down restfully, not thinking about stuff I have to do, but in the fresh tender grass.
