In Jerusalem, chosen of the Lord, Now the temple of the Lord build up! Serve with all the saints, share in one accord, Now the temple of the Lord build up! Build up! Build up! Now the temple of the Lord build up!
I recently saw this definition of Babylon on line. I thought it was good.
Many interpret current world systems—[Christianity] marked by consumerism, political corruption, and idolatry (money, career, status)—as reflecting aspects of end-time Babylon, urging believers to invest in eternity rather than perishable worldly rewards.
In Babylon there is utter confusion. It is full of idolatry. The saints are divided everywhere. At the same time Satan is trying to build up something but it is a counterfeit.
We must come out of her for the sake of unity. We must return to the place God has chosen. That is Jerusalem which is the church. Only in the place of oneness can the Lord build His temple, His dwelling place. Oh we need our spirit to be stirred up! I got some light from this song. Over the years I fear my sight has dimmed. Oh Lord stir my spirit up!
Please pray for my church Bethsaida Christian Fellowship here in New York City at Washington Heights for us to not be lukewarm and be on fire for Jesus Christ and come together and be one in mind !
Oh Lord! Out of Babylon! That is where we are! Lord build Your church. Build up, build up - the Saints stand with You dear Lord. Thank You for building us up! 💛
