In my sleep I could here chorus the words near the cross, near the cross. So I googled it and here I am. I'm not particularly into hymns and so when I get that prompting (which has not been the first), I want ask the Lord what is he wants me to know. In the course of my personal time of worship and supplication, this song pop up amidst prayers. I tried to ignore it and to continue praying but alas,! ,the urge to sing it was stronger so I paused and reached out to my Ancient and Modern and Sacred songs and solos but couldn't find it in both till I got on here....
Then Peace and Grace flood my heart as I sang it over and over.....
