Through all the changing scenes of life You O LORD have not changed you remain the same yesterday, today and forever therefore we are not dismayed. In the mist of the storms we know you are with us so we will not fear. Give us the faith to hold onto every word that you have spoken even this very word " BE NOT DISMAYED I WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU." AMEN.

This is, with other "jewels" (that's how I call the hymns), one of the most beautiful and encouraging hymn I grew up with. So many years and cultural aspects separate me from its author, and still I'm sure it ministered to her as it now does to me... by the action of the Holy Spirit. As I've been raised in an Italian Evangelical family, I mostly remember and sing it in Italian: "Dimenticar giammai potrò Signor la Tua mercè".. and as I sing it, I'm also transported in time, back when my grandma' used to sing it while cooking or sitting at church... Thanks God for these wonderful songs!

This hymn means a lot to me and to many of my friends. I have one blind and in a permanent care facility in California. I have played this over the phone and we sing it together. Yes, God will take care of everyone. What an assuring group of words.

I love this hymn. I have proven the words to be true. Our dear Heavenly Father really does take care.

As I was preparing/studying to teach our S.School lesson on Luke 6:17-36, I typed in the computer "Be not dismayed . . ." to get all the words and then I clicked on this web site to see the rest of the words. Then WOW ! I hear this wonderful old hymn with the piano accompaniment and the words. What a blessing!

Feeling overwhelmed and the Holy Spirit brought to mind to look up "Be not dismayed". This song came on and this is awesome, just what I needed to hear. Also listening to a minister on my cell speaking on the Holy Spirit. Yes Lord, You will take care of all our Problems.

I had just finished crying out to the Lord when this song came into my spirit. I am encouraged to continue trusting in the Lord for my deliverance. God's divine inspiration to the writer is still ministering today.

W. Stillman Martin had been invited to preach at a church a few hours away from his home. But his wife became ill that Sunday morning, and he was about to cancel his speaking engagement. Then his young son spoke up, "Father, don't you think that if God wants you to preach today, He will take care of Mother while you are away?" I love this song. It gives me strength and courage to take on new challenges.

I have just been diagnosed with colon cancer and this is the song that came into my spirit right after the Dr.'s news...my spirit has been singing it ever since and it is so comforting to know God is taking care of me and will be with me thru it all...blessings to all!
