Simply trusting every day

Simply trusting every day;
Trusting through a stormy way;
Even when my faith is small,
Trusting Jesus, that is all.
  Trusting as the moments fly,
Trusting as the days go by,
Trusting Him, whate’er befall,
  Trusting Jesus, that is all.
Brightly doth His Spirit shine
Into this poor heart of mine;
While He leads I cannot fall,
Trusting Jesus, that is all.
Singing if my way be clear,
Praying if the path be drear;
If in danger, for Him call,
Trusting Jesus, that is all.
Trusting Him while life shall last,
Trusting Him till earth is past,
Till His gracious advent call,
Trusting Jesus, that is all.

What else can we do other than trust in Jesus. Soo powerful a hymn which tells the Christian what he has to do all ways.

it's so deep a hymn. it lifts my spirit anytime it comes to mind and especially when we sing at church. God bless the writer.

I enjoy this hymn because it reminds me to be simple and to trust in my dear Lord.

Our church in Regina SK sang this song often back in the 60s. It came to mind a few days ago. I find joy and strength in the simplicity and profundity herein. Thank You Jesus for the blessedness of simply trusting in You!

As a very young boy my father pastored a small assembly in Cochrane, Ws. U.S.A. That was sixty-four years ago. Today as I sat in my devotions I remembered sitting in that congregation listening as they sang this grand old hymn. It certainly brought tears to my eyes. I had to google it and sat here singing along with the music. Oh how sweet to simply trust Him!

This song first made so much meaning to me when a sister sung it during a leadership seminar organised by the DYO for the young leaders in the church (The Tema

Diocese of the Methodist Church) on Monday May 25, 2015.

The song has repeatedly been ringing in my mind that I could not help than to wake up at 12:30 midnight to search for the full version.

Indeed, trusting Jesus, that is ALL
