I am immensely blessed by this hymn and all God's children, the beautiful souls who commented before me. Truly we are like-minded people. I cannot express, with words, how supernatural it is to know this hymn at a tender age and come to remember the same hymn at a very trying time as this in my present life. Somehow, in my moment of despair and discouragement, God brought it into my heart and I went further to look up/search for this song online, and here now, I noticed I'm not the only one who had this song come ringing in the mind during personal moment or circumstances. It's so supernatural to have this song come to most of us at a time like this — at a time like this when we need comfort, hope, strength, and with all of that, his assurance. Because rest assured, our moment of light affliction, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory.

I was Just making a consecration prayer to my Savior Jesus Christ when the first verse of this hymn ran through my mind. , so I looked it up. These verses should be the prayer of every believer!

This song came to me after my night devotion and I looked for the whole lyrics. It blessed me. God bless you all. I pray we will let God take our intellect and use to the glory of His name. Amen.

Thank God for the Holy Spirit who so sweetly discerns the heart and souls desire to ever be with our Lord. How blessed we are to have songs like this to sing and the mercy and grace that God affords us through them.

My hearts payer for the week is spelled out here in these lyrics. It is amazing to see God at work all around the world uniting His children in praise of Him! The Lord brought the lyrics of this hymn to my mind as I was praying this morning. I felt compelled to find all the words. Once I’d found them, I had to sing them. And once I sang these God-inspired words, I had to pray them! The intimacy with my Lord that followed was breathtaking and humbling. Then I saw the comments from this week alone. I believe that God is up to something and He wants us to remember our commitment to Him especially when things seem out of control. God is ALWAYS in control. He is our Rock!! To God be the glory!!!
