Such a Blessing! Such a Mercy! What Grace has the Lord Crowned us with! Unworthy as we are, He loves us so that
He blesses all repentant believers. We all need this............

Philip Paul Bliss is the composer of the music for this hymn-text. Bliss was born on July 9, 1838, Clearfield County, Pennsylvania and died December 29, 1876, Ashtabula, Ohio. He is buried in Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Ashtabula, Ohio.
Bliss and his wife died in a train wreck caused by a bridge collapse. He survived the initial impact, but went back into the flames in an unsuccessful attempt to rescue his wife. The remains retrieved from the Ashtabula disaster were placed in a common grave marked by a cenotaph in the Ashtabula cemetery. A cenotaph in memory of the Blisses was erected in the cemetery at Rome, Pennsylvania, July 17, 1877.
The night before that terrible railroad accident at Ashtabula… He said to his audiences, “I may not pass this way again”; then he sang a solo, “I’m going home tomorrow. ” Does indeed prove prophetic of his own home going.

Deuteronomy 4:31 For Jehovah your God is a compassionate God; He will not fail you nor let you perish nor forget the covenant with your fathers which He swore to them.
Deuteronomy 7:9 Know therefore that it is Jehovah your God who is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and lovingkindness to the thousandth generation with those who love Him and keep His commandments,
Luke 1:50 And His mercy is unto generations and generations, unto those who fear Him.
Truly, our Father's mercy is incomparable, nothing can compete with it. It stretches far from generation unto generation. May we always treasure our Father's mercy towards us which we can enjoy in His Son and thus give Him the praises due!

May we always give Him the proper worship every Lord's day.
Abba Father! we worship You for Your mercy and grace!
"According to Lamentations 3:22 and 23, God’s mercy, like the dew, is fresh every morning. Mercy in the Old Testament eventually issues in grace in the New Testament. Grace is God reaching us. When God reaches us in a positive manner, full of mercy and compassion, He becomes grace to us. Manna coming down with the dew signifies that Christ as our heavenly bread of life comes to us through grace. (Truth Lessons, Level 3, Vol. 1, Ch. 16, Section 4)

I enjoyed from the training that His mercy is so far reaching. His mercy enables us to receive His grace. We are vessels of mercy. Thank You Lord for choosing us. We are so grateful.
