Of Him whence grace and truth did spring,
We’re at the fountain drinking;
This Christ we’ll ever praise and sing,
Here in the church, His home!
We’re at the fountain drinking;
This Christ we’ll ever praise and sing,
Here in the church, His home!
Glory to God! We’re at the fountain drinking!
Glory to God! We’re in the church, our home!
Glory to God! We’re in the church, our home!

Ask but His grace, and lo, ’tis giv’n,
We’re at the fountain drinking;
Seek but Himself, the heaven of heaven,
And find Him here at home!
We’re at the fountain drinking;
Seek but Himself, the heaven of heaven,
And find Him here at home!

Though Satan fights with all his power,
We’re at the fountain drinking;
He’ll not prevail, not one short hour,
Against the church, our home!
We’re at the fountain drinking;
He’ll not prevail, not one short hour,
Against the church, our home!

Athirst we to this spring do fly,
We’re at the fountain drinking;
Drink deep, this well will not run dry!
It’s in the church, our home!
We’re at the fountain drinking;
Drink deep, this well will not run dry!
It’s in the church, our home!

THE LORD MAKING THE CHURCH HIS HOLY AND GLORIOUS COUNTERPART WITHOUT BLEMISH
---------------------------
The Lord can produce such a church because He loves the church and gave Himself up for her (v. 25). The Lord Jesus died on the cross not only to shed His blood to redeem us but also to release the divine life. When He died, blood and water came out of His pierced side (John 19:34). The blood redeemed us from sin, and water signifies God’s life. The water that came out of His pierced side is like the water that came out of the smitten rock in the Old Testament (Exo. 17:6). Furthermore, in John 4:13-14 the Lord Jesus said, “Everyone who drinks of this water shall thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall by no means thirst forever; but the water that I will give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into eternal life, ” and in 7:38 He said, “He who believes into Me, as the Scripture said, out of his innermost being shall flow rivers of living water. ” Revelation 22:1 speaks of a “river of water of life, bright as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb in the middle of its street. ” The water in these verses is the water of life, which refers to the flowing life of God. The Lord Jesus died on the cross to release this life.
The Great Mystery:
Christ and the Church

Bringing Humanity into Divinity and Being Glorified to Become the Spirit through His Death and Resurrection
---------------------------------
One day, on the last day of the Jews’ Feast of Tabernacles, the great day of their feast, this One who was God mingled with man stood up and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink” (John 7:37). We may not marvel at such a word at first, but after some careful consideration, we may wonder what it means. Confucius could not say and dared not to say, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink, ” yet the Lord Jesus called people to come to Him and drink. If someone who was thirsty came to Him, what kind of drink would He give him? How would He quench his thirst? Hence, the Lord Jesus explained, saying, “He who believes into Me, as the Scripture said, out of his innermost being shall flow rivers of living water” (v. 38). This indicates that to come to Him and drink is to believe into Him. Once we believe into Him, not only is our thirst quenched, but there are even rivers of living water flowing out of our innermost being. The Lord Jesus is attractive to us because He can quench our thirst. He gives us the living water when we come to Him. Once we drink this water, we are glad and are beside ourselves. Moreover, we even have living water flowing out of our innermost being. This is truly a mystery.
The Four Crucial Elements of the Bible:
Christ, the Spirit, Life, and the Church

You can not live without water. Jesus is the well or fountain of water [life]. Reference John 4:10. Here Jesus presents Himself as living water. We just need to ask for this spiritual water. We were all made with a spirit to drink this water and live. This is Christ himself. We live in a dry thirsty land. Nothing else can refresh and satisfy us.
