He giveth more grace

Comfort in Trials By Grace for Suffering

Neue Melodien723
1
He giveth more grace when the burdens grow greater,
He sendeth more strength when the labors increase,
To added affliction He addeth His mercy,
To multiplied trials, His multiplied peace.

His love has no limit, His grace has no measure,
His power no boundary known unto men,
For out of His infinite riches in Jesus,
He giveth and giveth and giveth again.
2
When we have exhausted our store of endurance,
When our strength has failed ere the day is half-done,
When we reach the end of our hoarded resources,
Our Father’s full giving is only begun.

Who can out do God! No one! There is no God except the Creator of heaven, earth and everything between. That's why this song is so powerful. The God of the universe is God all by Himself! No rivals! No contest! Hence, He is able to supply all our needs when our finite resources that He gave us anyway, is all gone. What a God!

Wow!! Learned this hymn as a small child. Hadn't thought of it in years. Happened to pick up an old devotional book and it was printed there. Looked online and am amazed at the comments from litterly "around the entire world". What A great family of believers I belong to. God Bless you ALL wherever you may be.

As I put the final touches to Sunday's message entitled 'Giving to the Giver of all good gifts', this song came to mind to quote. A dear friend, who is now with the Lord often used to sing the song as a solo. Precious memories.

I grew up with this hymn and some of the words came into my mind a few minutes ago. I googled it to get all the words. Then I discovered believers all over the world who are also blessed by this hymn. Wow! Thank you for posting; we are connected in Him!

I searched out this woman's testimony - what a precious knowing and believing in Christ. Her poems and hymn writing really capture our own Christian experiences. Thank You Lord for giving more grace.

Amen. How encouraging it is to read through this hymn and read the saints' comments. It shows that we're all going through trials and afflictions. We're not alone! And also, we can all testify that God's grace is poured out on us, sweetly, in these times of trials to heal our soul. Lord, we praise You! And saints, let's stay open to Him as much as we can, so that He can pour Himself into us unhindered.

This is my best hymn ever. Learnt it from the Salvation Army Song Book. It's a song that lifts my spirit and even got me more moved when I read the story of the writer of the song. Powerful song, man!
