Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth

Scriptures for Singing

Neue Lieder461

Let him kiss me with the kisses of his mouth!
For your love is better than wine.
Your name is like ointment poured forth;
Therefore the virgins love you.

The king brought me, brought me into his chambers—
We’ll be glad and joy in you;
We’ll extol your love much more than wine.
Draw me; we will run after you.

Tell me, you whom my soul loves,
Where do you feed your flock?
Where do they lie down at noon?
Where do you pasture your flock?

If you yourself do not know,
Go by the flock’s footsteps,
Feed your young, O fairest one,
By the shepherds’ tents.

The hymn reminds me of what the Lord said to Peter, ”Shepherd my sheep! ” Those who truly love the Lord will not depart from the Lord’s charge about shepherding His sheep and will seek it out.

Hallelujah, our Lord never leaves us!

‘Christ’s garden is in our spirit. If we live in our spirit, our spirit becomes a garden in which we grow all the beautiful, spiritual, divine, and heavenly things, which are sweet to His taste. ’ (fn. S. S. 6:2)

We no longer walk according to our feeling but our faith, the faith of the son of God, who loved me and gave Himself up for me.

Very wonderful! In Song of Songs, whenever we feel that the Lord's presence is gone like what was experienced by the seeking one, what we need to do is just to tell others about our Beloved, the more we tell them about Him, the more we will realize that the Lord was never been gone, He is just in His garden, feeding His flocks... Hallelujah! the Lord will never leave us, He will always be with us from this very day, until the consummation of this age.
