Give Yourself to Love the Lord

Consecration Constrained by the Lord

Neue Lieder160
1
Give yourself to love the Lord.
No other way is so prevailing
And no other way, no other way is so safe.
2
Give yourself to love the Lord.
No other way is so rich,
And so full, oh so full, of enjoyment.

Each morning we must rise up and say to Him,
“Lord Jesus, I love You.”
3
Give yourself to love the Lord.
Do not care for anything else;
Just love Him! Do not care!
Give yourself to love the Lord!

We are not our own, Lord;
All we have we give to You.
Lord Jesus! Lord Jesus!
Lord Jesus, we love You!

Each morning we must rise up and say to Him, “Lord Jesus, I love You. ”

Lord, wake us up every morning to have a time with you! Gain a genuine "Lord Jesus, I love you" from me at every moment, but especially every morning.

It is so easy to be distracted from loving the Lord even on account of good things (Revelation 2:1-7). So thankful to be reminded that no other way is so safe than to just love the Lord Jesus.

In our day beginning from the minute we wake up we could endlessly keep caring for so many things. But this morning I just loved the precious realization that all I really need to care about is to love our dear Lord Jesus!

Thank You Lord Jesus, we can give ourselves to love YOU!! And not care for anything else. Just love You! No other way is so rich. No other way is so prevailing. No other way is so safe. Lord Jesus, I love You! We are not our own Lord, all we have we give to You! Lord Jesus, we love You!!

Often, I find myself considering so many things that I just get bogged down in my ruminations - but really, the prevailing and most enjoyable way is that we just GIVE ourselves to love Him. Lord, simplify me, make me one who just loves You. Lord Jesus, I love You.
