Über die Zahlennotation

Die Zahlennotation (auch Jianpu oder 简谱 genannt) schreibt jede Melodienote als Zahl von 1 bis 7 statt als Note auf einem Notensystem. Die Zahl zeigt die Stellung der Note in der Tonleiter des Liedes -- nicht ihre genaue Tonhöhe --, sodass dieselbe Melodie unabhängig von der gesungenen Tonart gleich aussieht.

Innerhalb einer Oktave entsprechen die Zahlen 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 den bekannten Solmisationssilben Do Re Mi Fa Sol La Ti. Ein Punkt über einer Zahl hebt sie um eine Oktave an; ein Punkt darunter senkt sie um eine Oktave ab -- ohne Punkt bleibt es bei der mittleren, so geschriebenen Oktave.

Eine einzelne Zahl dauert einen Schlag. Ein Bindestrich (-) direkt nach einer Zahl hält dieselbe Note einen weiteren Schlag lang. Ein Strich unter einer Zahl verkürzt sie dagegen -- ein Strich ist ein halber Schlag, zwei Striche ein viertel Schlag. Eine 0 ist eine Pause: ein Schlag Stille.

Die Angabe oben auf dem Notenblatt, zum Beispiel "1=C" oder "1=Ab", zeigt, auf welcher Tonhöhe die Stufe 1 ("Do") liegt. Ein Lied in Moll trägt stattdessen die Angabe "6=X" -- Stufe 6 ("La") ist dann der eigentliche Grundton. Akkordsymbole über den Noten (wie "C" oder "G7") werden immer mit ihren gewohnten Buchstabennamen geschrieben, nie als Zahlen.

Bei der Angabe "1=C" klingen die Zahlen 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 als C D E F G A B. Bei "1=G" klingen dieselben Zahlen dagegen als G A B C D E F# -- gleiche Form, andere Tonart.

Christ is this all sufficient El shaddai this Someone who is always there to hear when we pour out our hearts. Who can make you pass through rain or storm, any hard times, he understands you. Coming to this one just as you are completes you, supplies you. He intercedes for us with groanings that cannot be uttered when you do not know what to pray for, he is our inward advocate clearing our conscience, listening to us, strengthening with himself, restoring our joy, leading us to the still waters of life.

Oh we just need to turn our hearts and love him more day by day.

This is the most intimate personal prayer/song I've ever read or sung. Just discovered it yesterday after the morning meeting with a group of saints gathering to eat and sing. The words of this song have been my personal outcry to the Lord for 53 years! And the answer, while definitely being our precious Lord, Jesus Christ, He is being expressed to me thru a particular member of His Body. Thank You Lord Jesus for this most precious experience. Thru this one, You, as the MOST precious One have touched my innermost being, and make my heart sing!
