In the Lord Almighty trust

Encouragement For Pressing On

English8485
Part I
1
In the Lord Almighty trust;
Onward go! Oh, onward go!
Claim in faith His promises;
Onward go!

In the land of Ham no more,
Egypt leave behind for sure!
Look not back; from this day forth,
Onward go!
2
Though behind pursues the foe,
Onward go! Oh, onward go!
Though ahead deep waters flow,
Onward go!

Soon, for you, will part that flow,
Drown and bury all the foe;
Sing, salvation’s triumph know!
Onward go!
3
Pillar cloud by day for sight;
Onward go! Oh, onward go!
Fiery column lights the night;
Onward go!

Hunger’s met with manna white;
Thirst from rock the rod did smite;
Foes our Nissi quells with might;
Onward go!
4
Though the way be rough and hard,
Onward go! Oh, onward go!
Just keep following the Ark;
Onward go!

Onward! Jordan River’s spanned!
Onward! Into Canaan’s land!
On! Till we in Zion stand!
Onward go!
Part II
1
No more in the world remain;
Onward go! Oh, onward go!
Let no cumbering weight restrain;
Onward go!

Father calls to holiness;
Christ is life most bounteous;
Spirit—power limitless;
Onward go!
2
Look not back with hand on plow;
Onward go! Oh, onward go!
Let your foot not falter now;
Onward go!

Look to Jesus, tiredness shake;
Hands don’t droop and legs don’t ache;
Bolder with each step you take;
Onward go!
3
Keep your courage to the end;
Onward go! Oh, onward go!
Look! The goal is straight ahead;
Onward go!

On! Till morning star arise.
On! Till kingdom meet your eyes.
On! Receive the crown, the prize.
Onward go!

Many thanks to the dear writer to this song with your logos of the Word and experiences of them becoming rhema to share with us who may in the valleys travel and wilderness roam.

Onward go and forward press.

May He continue to be our daily salvation and moment by moment supply 'til we see Him, Whom we've not seen, yet love, on Mount Zion.

With Gratitude in Grace,

Jubilee Chang
