Glorious, mighty Name of Jesus

Praise of the Lord His Name

English73
1
Glorious, mighty Name of Jesus,
Into Thy dear Name I flee;
“Set aloft,” I praise and worship,
For Thy Name is victory!
2
Blessed Jesus! Mighty Savior!
In Thy Name is all I need;
Just to breathe the Name of Jesus,
Is to drink of Life indeed.
3
Glorious, mighty Name of Jesus,
Heav’n and earth its pow’r proclaim;
But forgiven sinners only,
Know the balm of Jesus’ Name.
4
Jesus! Jesus! Name most precious,
Balm in pain or mighty sword;
In Thy Name, we live and conquer,
Blessed, glorious, coming Lord.

This hymn is written by Sister M. E. Barber. She obvious experienced the riches of the Name of Jesus. In Romans 10, Paul says God is rich to those who call upon His Name. Let's breath the Name of Jesus more and more each day.

Praise the Lord! During the lengthy lockdown every saint is experiencing due to the present COVID-19 pandemic, we can enjoy more of Christ each day! Many of the saints are working from home nowadays so the lifestyle has changed a lot making us to have MORE time to pursue Christ to be transformed and become mature as His Bride for His fast return!

"What we care for is the inner enjoyment of and the inner participation in all that the Lord is. When we call on the name of the Lord Jesus (oh, Lord Jesus! ), He may or may not do something to save us from our problems outwardly. However, we can be sure that whenever we call on His name, we will enjoy His riches."

Let's turn our "mourning" into singing and dancing with God during this crisis. All glory be to the Almighty God!
