Take my hands, and let them move At the impulse of Thy love; Take my feet and let them be Swift and beautiful for Thee, Swift and beautiful for Thee.
Take my hands, and let them move
At the impulse of Thy love;
Take my feet and let them be
Swift and beautiful for Thee,
Swift and beautiful for Thee.
3
Take my voice, and let me sing Always, only, for my King; Take my lips, and let them be Filled with messages from Thee, Filled with messages from Thee.
Take my voice, and let me sing
Always, only, for my King;
Take my lips, and let them be
Filled with messages from Thee,
Filled with messages from Thee.
4
Take my silver and my gold; Not a mite would I withhold; Take my intellect, and use Every power as Thou shalt choose, Every power as Thou shalt choose.
Take my silver and my gold;
Not a mite would I withhold;
Take my intellect, and use
Every power as Thou shalt choose,
Every power as Thou shalt choose.
5
Take my will, and make it Thine; It shall be no longer mine. Take my heart; it is Thine own; It shall be Thy royal throne, It shall be Thy royal throne.
Take my will, and make it Thine;
It shall be no longer mine.
Take my heart; it is Thine own;
It shall be Thy royal throne,
It shall be Thy royal throne.
6
Take my love; my Lord, I pour At Thy feet its treasure-store. Take myself, and I will be Ever, only, all for Thee, Ever, only, all for Thee.
This has become my new favorite hymn of all time. I recently spent a week of fellowship up in the mountains with a group of amazing people and after a day of returning to the real world I turned back to this song of praise to the only One who can and will forgive.

And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
Luke 9:23 KJV
Whiles meditating upon the above scripture since yesterday morning, I sought a song or hymn which spur me on to the call to consecration, and this wonderful Holy Spirit inspired hymn rhymed through my spirit.
I pray the Almighty God grant me grace to live my daily life bearing my cross in the joy and sweet sound of this hymn. Amen

When I sing and/or hear this beautiful prayer, I feel deeply moved; I feel totally humbled and desire to serve God I and all my belonging. Praise be to the almighty God and my Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
And my Jesus hear prayers for those who pray and accept us to His services forever and ever, Amen.

This hymn really inspires in me the urge to serve God with everything I have. When I lost my job and sung this hymn, I discovered I can still work for God (as an unpaid volunteer) and let Him take care of my needs which He has done.

This morning my husband and I sang this together, and, for the first time in a while, I sang it with complete rest and full meaning in my heart. I'm so grateful to the Holy Spirit this day.

Indeed, this hymn is a constant reminder to me that my life is not my own but a privilege I received from God.

This song never made sense when we sang it at school. But this morning, more than 20 years later it speaks to my heart and informs the attitude I need to adopt in service to my Lord and King. Blessed be the Lord God Almighty who has loved us with an everlasting love. There is none beside Him...He alone is King and He is worthy of all our praise. Hallelujah!

I was thinking and this song this morning, it revived me and it also reminds me of my service to the kingdom of God.
