Hold Thou my hand: so weak I am, and helpless

"So weak I am and helpless." What comfort that in my weakness, I can lean on an all-knowing, all-powerful God, trusting that His ways are best.

Today, it's 1:34am. I just wake up to this song, and singing it over and over, my heart finds peace in it. Somehow I have been hamming it whenever I am missing my parents but this time I woke up singing it and I only give God the glory through Christ my Lord and Savior

Woke up this morning seeing only darkness before me but singing this hymn and getting assurance of His sunlight divine has made the time reach 15 26 as I write this message. I am still alive seeing and praising the Lord Jesus's presences. What a savior what a holding hand! I will not dare take another step without they aid.

This song speaks volumes to my heart. There are times when I feel, everything around me is heavy and all I need is for the Lord to hold my hand. God have mercy.

Woke this morning, with many decisions ahead and faced with busy days.. while praying these words were brought to my mjnd by my dear Lord. They gave me new strength and revived my soul. Thank You Father.

This is a hymn that I remember hearing as a child many many years ago. I can't remember if we sang it as a family or my big sister sang it to me.

I remember though that even as a small child there was something comforting about this hymn.

Today as a Christian it reminds me of God's bigness and my smallness; of my inadequacies and His all sufficient grace.

This hymn still brings me comfort.

Wonderful Song that brings you into your spirit in such oneness with the Triune God Himself. It meets you at the point of deepest needs when there is no one to turn to; when all the props are being dismantled or when the attacks of the enemy assail. It is reassuring soothing and comforting. Reassuring you that this is the pathway chosen for you and reminding you that other faithfuls are trudging the same pathway and that the Lord is neigh.
