More about Jesus would I know

If we are privileged to encounter the Lord Jesus Christ, through grace, no one can be satisfied without asking for more knowledge of the Saviour of mankind.

I love the hymn

I can never get enough of JESUS. I need MORE of HIM in all I do, on daily basis.

I heard this song the first time while listening to Bro Gbile message title "Not I but Christ". I search for the lyrics and found it here. Thanks so much.

We're out to discern the holy will of God. Now I fear to do the will of my flesh than ever.

When I was pondering how to discern the will of God from the will of the flesh, the second stanzard of the song came to my mind

"More about Jesus let me learn. mmore of his holy will discern. Spirit of God my teacher be, showing the things of God to me.

Am listening to This hymn for the first time, and it reminds me of all that Jesus Christ has done for me.

Glory to God

Woke up from a dream about a silver cup of grape juice (communion? ); this song was in my mind and heart. ..... "Spirit of God, my teacher be; showing the things of Christ to me."

When I hear and sing this song, it brings me tears of joy. It has such a simple but profound message. It is about a soul that peacefully yearns for more of Jesus, something all Christians have done at some point in our lives. As I child it touched me. As an adult it still touches me but in a more powerful way as I understand more about the Gospel. Now I preach this Gospel and it is a joy to do so. God bless the woman who wrote this beautiful song! It still blesses today!

This hymn always give assurance of great hope in the Lord.

I used to hear this lovely song from the choir of my Church as a little boy growing in Lagos.

As I knew more about the love of God in Christ Jesus, the song keeps popping out of my spirit.

Indeed there's so much to know about Jesus, we can't know Him enough.
